Our May 8^th trip to Alexander was even better than last year!  Eleven of us made the journey: Mike Anthony, Bill Ashley, John Chappell, Kerrie Chappell, Malcomb Evans, Debbie Evans, Dave Fry, Bob Hendricks, Bob Morris, Kathy Shelton, and Roger Warren.  The youth pastor from MacArthur Assembly also joined us.  The Christian Motorcyclists Association did not join us as planned, so everyone’s participation was really appreciated.

  Bob Morris brought a couple of boxes of “Truth for Youth” bibles which were handed out to the kids.   These are the same bibles we used last time, but this trip we stuck a Christian Car Club label on each one.  Please pray that the kids read and consider the bibles.

--Our new method  (started last year) of first talking to the kids as a group and then just letting them enjoy themselves looking at the cars without feeling pressured was very successful.  Everyone is more at ease that way.  Many of the kids were enthusiastic about the loud motors, fancy gadgets, etc. on the old vehicles.
