This is my 1966 Chevy Bel Air, (the day I first bought it and brought
it home). As you can see, it wasn't in too bad of shape. Almost no
rust and the interior, (besides the zebra pattern seat covers,
SAY WHAT?!?!) Don't worry, I didn't put them in there and they will be
GONE by they time the car is finished. I purchased the car from a
wonderful friend's dealership (Solid Rock Auto Sales in Beebe, AR.)
for less than $700 and drove it home. It has/had a 283 V8 engine
with a "power glide" transmission. I got rid of the power glide and I am
installing a 1990 700r4 with a B&M Shift Kit. I have also MODIFIED
the 283 slightly, bought lots of shiny parts for it. I also plan on adding
disk brakes, shaving all the locks and door handles, restoring the interior
back to factory. I am changing the color though, all I can say is that
it's a Cadillac color. I hope to at least have it on the road by this summer.
